Building a multilingual website for The Fourth Eye

The Fourth Eye is a translation and interpretation agency that specialises in tech and science. They needed a multilingual website to:

  • Develop their business in France, and specifically in Strasbourg. The agency was founded by Kole Wright, a technical and scientific translator from the US who moved to France in May 2025 to be closer to the French startup, medtech, innovation and public sectors.
  • Publish content in the agency’s 3 main languages: English, French and German.
  • Attract new clients, especially in tech and science, who want to establish their presence in French, English and German markets.

Our project with The Fourth Eye

We gave The Fourth Eye, a communications consultancy for science and tech, a full website design-and-build service. This included 3 key phases in website creation, namely SEO content writing, website design, and website development.

Contentactic were indispensable in relaunching my company. Their strategic support made all the difference, from the initial project kick-off meeting right through to keyword research and content planning for each page. They wrote SEO-optimised content that was natural, accurate and aligned with my sector. This content gave the website a coherent structure, improved user experience and matched the search queries of my clients. We also co-designed the visual aspects of the website based on designs that I had created, and I was able to produce the English translation myself based on the French pages they created. Lastly, Contentactic looked after the development and publication of the website so that everything was handled for me on that end. I now have a tidy, coherent website built around a clear keyword strategy and carefully designed webpages. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without this versatile, talented team.

Phase 1 – Content writing

  • We developed a keyword strategy based on a semantic and lexical analysis of relevant fields for the client. This analysis focused on the agency’s specialisms in science and tech, patent translation and innovative companies. It also focused on the agency’s services, namely translation, interpretation, writing/editing and consulting.
  • We then designed a coherent structure for the main pages of the website and selected relevant keywords based on the search intent of the target audiences and goals of the client. We also selected local keywords to enhance the agency’s visibility in Strasbourg.
  • Next, we wrote and optimised the French pages of the website in a tone of voice that was both friendly and professional, as requested by the client. We also expanded the semantic and lexical richness of the website by adding FAQ sections.
  • Lastly, we added testimonials from clients to build trust in the agency.

Phase 2 – Website design

  • We designed a mockup of the website that optimised user experience for each page, including user intent and journey, while working to the logo and visual identity guidelines provided by the client.
  • We also created custom illustrations based on the image that the agency wanted to convey.

Phase 3 – Website development

  • We built the website, and migrated all the French content we’d created into it. We also migrated all visuals and other text provided.
  • We then created the multilingual versions of the website in English and German. The client produced and migrated the English content into the website themselves, and plans on doing the same for German.

3 standout features of our work for The Fourth Eye

  • Coherent: We created a website that matched the visuals and texts provided by the client, including their visual identity guidelines, business plan and wording.
  • Customised: We designed a personalised website structure, design and illustrations that highlighted the agency’s areas of expertise and boosted its visibility on the French market.
  • Turnkey: We oversaw the entire website build from beginning to end, from the kick-off call to writing the content and putting it online. The entire project was optimised for SEO, graphic design and website development.
